About Adam Riddell

UPAC Director

Adam’s interest in aviation started as a child building plastic model airplane kits with his Grandfather and spending time together at the local airshows admiring all of the incredible aircraft. In his early twenties Adam began building and flying R/C Nitro Powered balsa airplane kits and R/C Nitro powered helicopters. He certainly enjoyed the model aviation world, but it didn’t quite fulfill his desire to get airborne. Eventually he purchased a Basic Ultralight that had spent much of the previous 20 years hidden away in storage. With the guidance and encouragement of fellow UPAC members, Adam got the aircraft back in flying condition and used it to earn his Pilot Permit. Since then Adam has also partnered with another pilot whom he now shares an Advanced Ultralight.
